Johnshaven and the surrounding area; including Gourdon, Bervie and St Cyrus; have long been documented over the centuries for their contribution to the economic and social evolution in the North East of Scotland.

Now part of Aberdeenshire; but with a Dundee (DD10) postcode; Johnshaven or Johns Haven has existed for more than half a millenium. Today the vibrant village enjoys new life with a strong community spirit and conservation minded development of exisiting dwellings.
